CAPSTONE
What is Capstone?
The Capstone Program is the flagship field study program of UNlimited Institute held in Cambodia every year. It is a credit-bearing program professionally designed for university students to fulfill graduation requirements. The Capstone Program aims to broaden student's horizon and make university education more relevant to the real-world situations.
In the summer from 2015 to 2018, UNlimited Institute collaborates with the University of Hong Kong and College of International Education, Hong Kong Baptist University, offering field study in Cambodia. The students will obtain hands-on experience in health and nutrition assessment, public health education, social status assessment and data analysis. We integrate university education into reality!
The objectives are:
Students will become more competent in their career development as the program trains up various generic skills:
To carry out research work in rural areas and research public health and socio-economic issues in related to food and nutritional aspect, including:
7th - 20th June 2019 (14 days 13 nights)
Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kampot and Kep Provinces in Cambodia
Undergraduate:
Year 3 or above who has completed certain prerequisite advanced courses as required by faculty
Associate Degree/Higher Diploma:
Completed Year 1 of study with courses as required by faculty

(Students may be eligible for a reimbursement of up to HKD4,000 from Gallant Ho Experiential Learning Fund after successfully complete this Capstone Program on credit-bearing basis under BIOL4962 / BIOL4964 / ENVS4966 in HKU)
(Include: Round-trip Flight, Accommodation, Travel Insurance, Local Transportations, Guided Tours, Translations, Entrance of Site Visits, Training, Administration)
(NOT Include: Personal Expenses, Visa, Individual Insurance and Vaccination)
